Bulk Prices$7 per brown bag. Bridgewater's transfer station takes no brush or leaves at all. We pick your yard waste up at the curb.
Call Today!Plenty of Bridgewater households take their own trash to the transfer station on Bedford Street, and for some of them that is the right call. Here is the honest comparison.
A one-year Bridgewater sticker is $50, or $25 if you are 65 or retired. Two years is $75 and an extra sticker for the same household is $15.
The sticker gets you through the gate. Every bag of trash up to 15 pounds is another $2, a barrel is $4 to $6, and payment at the gate is check or money order only. Cash is no longer accepted.
Plus the weekly run, and only while the gate is open: Monday, Tuesday and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Sunday 8:00 a.m. to noon, closed Wednesday and Thursday, and closed altogether on snow days over four inches.
Every Monday, from your curb, for $30 a month flat. No sticker, no per-bag charge, no check at the gate. Bulky items are a phone call and a price we tell you before we come.
Town of Bridgewater sticker, bag and item fees and transfer station hours as published by the town, flyer effective June 2026. Check with the town before you go.
Every Monday. Have your totes at the curb by 7:00 a.m. Recycling is collected the same day, every week. In a holiday week your pickup moves one day later. See the holiday schedule.
$30 a month for two 64-gallon totes, $35 for a 96-gallon trash tote with a 64-gallon recycling tote, and $40 for two 96-gallon totes. One flat monthly rate, totes included, no hidden fees.
A 64-gallon tote holds about four large kitchen bags and a 96-gallon tote about seven. One or two people usually fit in the 64. A household of four or more usually needs the 96. If you outgrow it, call and we swap it.
