The terms, before the prices
Four things change what you actually pay. Read them before you pick a size.
$50 per extra week beyond the included rental period. Hooklifts include one week, roll-offs include two.
$170 per ton over the included tonnage. Prorated, not rounded up to a whole ton. Every container is weighed.
A 12% fuel surcharge on the final bill. Applied to the total, after the rental and any overage.
Call us when you are finished and we will schedule the removal. Nothing is picked up automatically.
What a real bill looks like
Take a 15 yard hooklift at $525 with 2 tons included. You keep it ten days and put 2.4 tons in it. That is $525 for the rental, plus $50 for the second week, plus $68 for the extra 0.4 tons, which comes to $643. Add the 12% fuel surcharge and the bill is $720.16.

Front and rear load containers
For a business that needs a container on site all the time rather than for one job. These are emptied on a standing schedule, weekly, every other week or monthly.

What cannot go in a dumpster
These items are not allowed in any Carney container. Each has its own disposal route, and most of the chemicals belong at a household hazardous waste day instead.
Tires, hazardous chemicals, propane tanks, batteries, electronics and appliances
Paint, motor oil, propane tanks, batteries and electronics all need separate handling. Your town's household hazardous waste day takes most of them. Call the office before anything questionable goes in the container, because a load that has to be sorted at the transfer station costs more than a phone call.

How long can I keep the dumpster?

What happens if I go over the included weight?
Anything over the included tonnage is $170 a ton, prorated, and a 12% fuel surcharge is added to the final bill. A 15 yard hooklift with 2.4 tons in it, for example, pays for the extra 0.4 tons and nothing more.
Where does the dumpster go?
Usually in the driveway. When you book by phone we confirm the size, the delivery day and where the container sits on your property, so the truck can set it down and pick it up without touching anything else.
What cannot go in a dumpster?
No batteries of any kind, no tires, no propane tanks, no paint or chemicals, no electronics and no appliances with refrigerant in them. Most of those go to a town hazardous waste day. Call the office before anything questionable goes in, because a load that has to be sorted costs more than the call.
