Carver has no transfer station of its own. Residents use Wareham's, out on Route 28, and the sticker is $140 for the first vehicle and $60 for a second.
The arrangement takes bagged household waste only. Mattresses, box springs, large furniture and tires are on the prohibited list, there is no price for them because they are turned away at the gate.
Open Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and town bags are extra at $1.25 small or $2.00 large. Roughly 26 hours a year of your time, and a longer drive than most.

$30 a month for two 64-gallon totes, $35 for a 96-gallon trash tote with a 64-gallon recycling tote, and $40 for two 96-gallon totes. One flat monthly rate, totes included, no hidden fees.
A 64-gallon tote holds about four large kitchen bags and a 96-gallon tote about seven. One or two people usually fit in the 64. A household of four or more usually needs the 96. If you outgrow it, call and we swap it.
