Cohasset is split across two routes, so your day depends on where you are in town. Call 508-822-2208 and we'll tell you which one you're on.
Mattresses, furniture, appliances, TVs and tires cannot go in your tote, but we pick them up by appointment at a flat price per item.
Bulk Prices$7 per brown bag. Cohasset's brush days are one Saturday a month, April to November. We come whenever you call.
Call Today! The Cohasset Recycling Transfer Facility is well run and takes almost everything. Some households should use it. Here is what it actually costs you.
Cohasset's All Facilities Permit is $165 for the first permit per household. That is admission to the gate. It does not include throwing anything away.
Trash has to go in official blue bags, at $40 for ten 33-gallon or $20 for ten 16-gallon. Two bags a week is another $416 a year, so a two-bag household is near $581 a year before a mattress, a sofa or a single trip is counted.
Plus the weekly run, and only while the gate is open: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., closed Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Roughly 26 hours a year of your time, unpaid.
Every Tuesday or Wednesday, from your curb, for $35 a month flat: $420 for the year, with bi-weekly recycling, no permit and no blue bags to buy. Bulky items are a phone call and a price we tell you before we come.

$35 a month for two 64-gallon totes, $40 for a 96-gallon trash tote with a 64-gallon recycling tote, and $45 for two 96-gallon totes. One flat monthly rate, totes included, no hidden fees. In-driveway pickup, where we come up the driveway for the totes, is $115 to $135 a month.
A 64-gallon tote holds about four large kitchen bags and a 96-gallon tote about seven. One or two people usually fit in the 64. A household of four or more usually needs the 96. If you outgrow it, call and we swap it.
