Mattresses, furniture, appliances, TVs and tires cannot go in your tote, but we pick them up by appointment at a flat price per item.
Bulk Prices$7 per brown bag. Marshfield's curbside weeks land in late fall and cap you at 20 bags. We take any amount, whenever you call.
Call Today!Marshfield gives you two ways to handle your own trash, and both of them are cheap. We would rather lay them out than hope you do not notice.
Marshfield does collect from the curb, but only in the town's pay-as-you-throw bags at $10 a sleeve of five, which is $2 a bag. Two bags a week works out around $208 a year, and you are the one remembering to buy them before the sleeve runs out.
The other option is a transfer station sticker at $25 a year, and the station opens Monday to Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the longest hours of any town we serve. Cheap to get into. Then it is your car, your Saturday and your back.
A mattress or box spring is $36. Sofas are not priced per item at all. Bulky material is weighed, at $120 a ton with a $60 minimum, so one armchair and half a room of furniture can cost you the same.
Every Friday, from your curb, for $35 a month flat, with bi-weekly recycling and no bags to buy, ever. Bulky items are a phone call and a flat price per item, with no scale and no minimum charge.
Town of Marshfield pay-as-you-throw bag price, transfer station sticker, hours and per-item fees as published by the town in 2026. Check with the town before you go.
Every Friday. Have your totes at the curb by 7:00 a.m. Recycling is collected every other week on the same day. In a holiday week your pickup moves one day later. See the holiday schedule.
$35 a month for two 64-gallon totes, $40 for a 96-gallon trash tote with a 64-gallon recycling tote, and $45 for two 96-gallon totes. One flat monthly rate, totes included, no hidden fees. In-driveway pickup, where we come up the driveway for the totes, is $115 to $135 a month.
A 64-gallon tote holds about four large kitchen bags and a 96-gallon tote about seven. One or two people usually fit in the 64. A household of four or more usually needs the 96. If you outgrow it, call and we swap it.
Fill out the sign-up form online, any time, or call 508-822-2208. We call back during office hours to confirm your pickup day, tote size and start date. Nothing is billed until your first collection.
