The Recycling Center sticker is free, but the site takes no household trash at all. It is recycling and a short list of appliances, and nothing else.

Norwell does run a town curbside program through a contracted hauler, with a 35-gallon trash cart and purple overflow bags at $10 for five. For mattresses and sofas the town points residents at private pickup and publishes no price at all, so a bulk item is a hauler call either way.

Every Thursday. Have your totes at the curb by 7:00 a.m. Recycling is collected every other week on the same day. When a holiday falls on or before your pickup day that week, your pickup moves one day later. See the holiday schedule.
$35 a month for two 64-gallon totes, $40 for a 96-gallon trash tote with a 64-gallon recycling tote, and $45 for two 96-gallon totes. One flat monthly rate, totes included, no hidden fees.
A 64-gallon tote holds about four large kitchen bags and a 96-gallon tote about seven. One or two people usually fit in the 64. A household of four or more usually needs the 96. If you outgrow it, call and we swap it.
