Why Choose Us?

The Rockland Recycling Center on Beech Street is useful and some households should use it. Here is what it does and does not do.

0
bags of household trash accepted

The Recycling Center takes no household trash at all. It is for recycling and bulky items only, so your weekly rubbish still needs a hauler either way.

$50
for a refrigerator, the highest we found

A refrigerator or freezer is $50 at Rockland, more than any other town we serve. A mattress is $25, a sofa $15 to $25 a section, and payment is by check only.

$20
access fee if you use a private hauler

Access is $10 if you are on town pickup and $20 if you are not. Open Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday until 11:30 a.m., closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

What we do instead

Every Friday, from your curb, for $30 a month flat for trash and recycling both, from the curb. Bulky items are a phone call and a price we tell you before we come.
