The Convenience Center opens Wednesday and Friday 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Everyday trash does not go there at all. That is curbside, in the city's orange bags.
Taunton charges $35 per unit, and a mattress and box spring count as two units. A freon appliance is $30, a washer or dryer $20, a car tire $10.
A mattress that is excessively wet, heavily soiled, or shows mold or bed bugs is not accepted at any price. You load it, drive it over, and bring it home again.
Every Wednesday, from your curb, for $30 a month flat, trash and recycling both weekly. Bulky items are a phone call and a flat price, wet or dry, and we do the lifting.

$30 a month for two 64-gallon totes, $35 for a 96-gallon trash tote with a 64-gallon recycling tote, and $40 for two 96-gallon totes. One flat monthly rate, totes included, no hidden fees.
A 64-gallon tote holds about four large kitchen bags and a 96-gallon tote about seven. One or two people usually fit in the 64. A household of four or more usually needs the 96. If you outgrow it, call and we swap it.
