If your totes were at the curb by 7 a.m. on your pickup day, you have not missed us. Call 508-822-2208 with your address and we can tell you whether your street has already been run.
If your totes were at the curb by 7 a.m. on your day, you have not missed the truck. Leave them out and we will get there.
The reason this question comes up so often is that the same street does not get collected at the same hour every week. A route runs in whatever order makes sense that morning, and it changes when a driver is out, when a truck is full and has to go tip, or when weather slows the run. Some customers also see more than one of our trucks in a neighborhood, because trash and recycling are collected separately and not always at the same time of day.
So a truck going past your house is not proof that you were skipped. It may not have been your truck.
It is worth checking your day against the weekly and holiday schedule, particularly in a week with a holiday in it, because everything slides back by one.
If it is late in the day and your totes are still full, call the office at 508-822-2208. We can see which truck ran your street and when, and here is what happens next if we did miss you.
We answer the phone Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If your question is about your own address, a call is always faster than a form.
