Do you take furniture, appliances and TVs?

Yes. Each item has a flat price, so you know the cost before the truck arrives. A sample:

• Furniture: sofa $80, sleep sofa $120, recliner $60, upholstered chair $45, dresser or wood table $50
• Appliances: refrigerator $75, freezer $75, washing machine $75, dryer $65, stove $70, dishwasher $60, hot water heater $65, window air conditioner $80
• Electronics: flat-panel TV $60, tube TV $65, console TV $90, monitor or laptop $45, computer or printer $45

None of these can go in your tote, and it is not a rule we invented. Electronics and appliances are banned from Massachusetts disposal, so they go to a processor that strips them down. Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners also hold refrigerant that has to be recovered by a certified technician before the metal can be scrapped.
