I forgot to put my totes out. Can you come back?

Yes. Call 508-822-2208 and we will send a truck back as soon as we can fit it in. A return trip is $30.

That charge is for the trip itself: a truck leaving its route, or coming back out after it has finished, for one house. It is the cost of the thing rather than a penalty, and nobody in the office is going to make you feel bad about it. It happens to everyone.

Worth knowing: our drivers photograph totes that are not out when they pass. So if you are not sure whether you were skipped or whether you missed the truck, ask. We can look at the picture rather than guess.

If you would rather just wait for next week, two things help:

• Bag everything and keep it in the tote with the lid closed. An open or overfilled tote is what brings animals.
• If you will have more than the tote holds by then, call ahead. Extra bags are priced separately and have to be booked before the truck comes.

The reliable fix, if mornings are the problem, is in-driveway pickup. We come up and get the totes so there is nothing to remember.
