I have more trash than fits in my tote. What are my options?

Anything that does not fit in the totes with the lids closed counts as extra and has to be called in before your pickup day. Extra bags are $5 for a tall kitchen bag and $10 for a contractor bag. If it is every week, a bigger or second tote is cheaper.

Anything that does not fit in the totes with the lids closed is extra, and extra has to be called in to 508-822-2208 before your pickup day. Bags left out without that call may not get taken. The driver has a route to finish and no way of knowing it is not a neighbor's pile.

What extra costs:

  • $5 per tall kitchen bag
  • $10 per contractor bag

Tell us how many when you call and we will add it to the run.

If it is a one-off (a party, a holiday, a delivery that came in a mountain of boxes) that pricing is the whole answer. Call, say how many bags, done.

If it is every week, stop paying by the bag. The service is the wrong size, not the week. Moving up to a 96-gallon costs nothing to swap, and a second trash tote is $20 a month. Either one is cheaper than four extra bags a month.

If it is a whole houseful (a move, a clearout, a renovation) that is a dumpster. A 10-yard hooklift is $425 for a week with a one-ton limit.

Furniture or an appliance is never a bag question. See bulk item pickup.
