No. Collection has to be from Carney Disposal totes. Ours are what the trucks and the routes are set up around, and using them is how we make sure your trash actually gets taken. The totes come with the service at no extra cost.
No. Not another hauler's container, and not one you bought yourself.
The reason is simple: our trucks and our routes are built around our totes, and using them is how we guarantee your trash gets picked up. A container we do not recognize is the thing most likely to get driven past, and that helps nobody.
The totes come with your service, so there is nothing to buy. We drop them off about a week before your first collection, and you can change the size later for free if the household outgrows it. The residential page compares the two sizes.
As for the old ones: your previous hauler usually wants their container back, and most will schedule a pickup if you call them. If it is a bin you bought yourself and you no longer want it, ask us and we will tell you whether it can go out as a bulk item.
We answer the phone Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If your question is about your own address, a call is always faster than a form.
