Do I have to cancel my current hauler myself?

Yes. We cannot cancel another company's service on your behalf, so you need to call them yourself. Line up the dates so your last pickup with them and your first with us do not leave a gap.

Yes, that part is yours. We cannot cancel an account we do not hold, so you need to call your current hauler and end it directly with them.

The order that works best:

  1. Call us first on 508-822-2208, or fill in the sign-up form, and get a firm start date. Do not cancel anything before you have one.
  2. Then call your current hauler and give them a last pickup date that lands just before ours begins.
  3. Arrange for their containers to be collected. Most haulers want them back and will schedule that when you cancel. Do not leave them at the curb for us. We cannot take another company's totes.

Ask them about a refund. If you have paid a quarter or a year in advance, many will prorate what is left. They will not usually offer it unprompted.

Watch the notice period. Some contracts want thirty days, some auto-renew on an anniversary date. Worth checking before you assume you can leave at the end of the month.

We drop your totes off before your first collection, so there is no window where you have nothing.

Still not sure? Call the office.

We answer the phone Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If your question is about your own address, a call is always faster than a form.
