How much is in-driveway pickup?

From $115 a month for two 64-gallon totes, $125 for a 96 and a 64, and $135 for two 96s. It is available in all 28 towns we serve. Recycling runs every other week on in-driveway service unless you pay to upgrade to weekly.

Three tiers, matching the curbside tote options:

  • $115 a month: 64-gallon trash and 64-gallon recycling
  • $125 a month: 96-gallon trash and 64-gallon recycling
  • $135 a month: 96-gallon trash and 96-gallon recycling

It is available in all 28 towns we serve, at the same rate wherever you are, unlike curbside, which varies by town.

One thing to know before you sign up: recycling runs every other week on in-driveway service, in every town, unless you pay to upgrade to weekly. Ask about that rate when you call.

Why it is so much more than the $30 curbside rate. Curbside collection is mostly automatic. The truck pulls up, an arm lifts the tote, the truck moves on, and the driver does not leave the cab. In-driveway is a person getting out, walking up your driveway, walking two totes back down, emptying them and walking them back. That is a few minutes of labor per house instead of a few seconds, and on a route of hundreds of stops it is the difference between one truck and two.

We publish the price rather than quote it privately, because it is a large enough number that people deserve to see it before they call.
